What kind of positions do you staff?

All types of office positions including administrative assistants, executive assistants, HR, customer service, marketing support, and accounting support positions.

How much do I have to pay to sign up with you?

Our applicants are never charged a fee of any kind.

What's the first step?

Go to our Resume Submittal page at www.staffingsolutionsinc.com and send us a resume.  You can also view our Current Openings, which change frequently.

What happens next?

Our recruiter will review your resume, and if your skills and experience are a good fit for positions that we have, or are likely to have available, she'll set up an appointment with you.  Sometimes we don't have a good fit at the moment.  In that case, we keep your resume on file for future opportunities.

Will you let me know the status of my application?

We try to contact everyone who submits a resume:  sometimes it's a call to setup an appointment, other times an email to let you know that we're keeping your resume on file, or to suggest other agencies that might also be able to better help you.  please don't be offended if you don't get a call for an appointment: our application process is lengthy, and we don't want to have to come in if there's not likely to be a good fit available for you right away.

How long will it take to hear from you?

Please be patient - we get a lot of resumes!  We do our best to respond within a few days.

Is it OK if I call to follow up?

If you'd like.  Our applicant coordinator can tell you if we have received your resume and its status.  But please give our recruiter a few days to get to it!

What should I do while I'm waiting?

If you're in job search mode, you know that it takes a lot of work to get a job!  Our website can help!  We created "Your Job Search Place" to give job-seekers strategies and how-to guides for networking, resume help, interviewing tips, using social media, and job search organization.

How long do temporary positions last?

Temporary positions can be any length of time: 1 day, a few days, a couple of weeks, or indefinite!

What types of companies do you staff for?

We staff for Fortune 500 companies, small business, educational institutions and nonprofits in a variety of industries.

If I accept an assignment with Staffing Solutions, Inc.,  who is my actual employer?

Any person who goes on an assignment through Staffing Solutions, Inc., is an employee of ours.  Your paycheck is issued by Staffing Solutions, Inc.

I did not see the answer that I'm looking for.

If you did not see an answer to your question, please email your question to us at mail@staffingsolutionsinc.com and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

Who pays the employee on a temp-to-hire job; the employer or the agency?

You are a Staffing Solutions employee while you are "temping" at our client and are paid weekly by Staffing Solutions. Once the client "converts" you to a full time employee you will become a full-time employee of the company, and they will then be responsible for paying your salary.

What salary can I expect during the temporary period?

For a temp to hire opportunity you will usually be offered an hourly rate that is within the range of the full time position, however, that hourly rate is part of the negotiation and must be agreed upon before beginning your temp to hire position with our client.

Will I be offered an increase once the client has "converted" me to a full time employee?

Staffing Solutions will negotiate the salary that will be offered to you prior to you starting the temp to hire position.

Is paid parking included during a temp assignment?

Yes, Staffing Solutions or the client will pay for your parking, however, if Staffing Solutions is reimbursing for parking, we have a maximum reimbursement of $ 6.00 per day.If the client is responsible for the parking, they usually will pay for the full amount.

As a perm employee, is this an hourly position or a salaried position?

As a temp you will be paid hourly, when the client "converts" you to a full time employee they will determine if your position will be non-exempt, or hourly, or salaried. It will depend on how the company has classified the position.
